This page says what ÆON keeps about you, why, and where. ÆON shows no ads and sells nothing about you.
Your account
- Your email address and your password (kept scrambled by our sign-in service: nobody at ÆON can read it). If you sign in with Google or Discord, they give ÆON your name, email address and profile picture — nothing else.
- Your ÆON name: other players see it over your head.
- The gender and age you gave when you signed up. Only you can read them. Your gender picks the built-in body other players see while your own character loads, so they may guess it from that.
What you make and wear
- Your projects stay on your own PC until you publish one.
- A published world — its files, name, description and picture — is kept on ÆON's servers so anyone with its code can visit it.
- A character you imported and wear is sent to ÆON's servers so the players in your world can see you in it; their ÆON keeps a copy to show you faster next time. Removing it in My character (signed in) removes it from ÆON's servers.
Playing together
- While you're in a world, where you stand, what you do and your chat lines are passed to the other players there. Chat lines are never stored.
- The multiplayer server notes when your ÆON name joins and leaves a world, to keep it running.
- Like any server, ours see your internet address while you're connected.
Where it's kept
Accounts and their data: Supabase, in Frankfurt (Germany). Files (worlds, characters): Cloudflare R2. The multiplayer server: Vultr, in Paris (France). These companies keep it for ÆON; ÆON doesn't share it with anyone else.
Deleting your data
Email alkanakdeniz21@gmail.com from your account's address and ask — your account, its characters and its published worlds are deleted. The same address for any question about your data.
Age
ÆON is for people aged 13 and over.
